Officials of Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption (DVAC) arrested the Circle Inspector of Nesamony Nagar successful the precocious hours of Friday, connected charges of accepting a bribe.
According to DVAC sources, J. Anbuprakash, 58, Circle Inspector of Nesamony Nagar had allegedly demanded a bribe of ₹1.15 lakh from R. Rajan, of Nagercoil for disposing of a lawsuit registered astatine Asaripallam constabulary station, arsenic a mistake of fact.
Acting connected the ailment lodged by Mr. Rajan, DVAC officials laid a trap and arrested Mr. Anbuparaksh adjacent his residence in Christhu Nagar, portion helium was receiving the bribe.
