Divisional Railway Manager (Waltair) Lalit Bohra inaugurated the 4th State Scouts and Guides campy astatine the camping site, beside the Waltair Railway Cricket Stadium, successful Visakhapatnam connected Friday. Over 300 cadets representing 4 East Coast Railway districts— Central, Khurda, Waltair, and Sambalpur—are participating successful the camp.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Bohra, who is besides patron of the Bharat Scouts and Guides Wing, Waltair district, emphasised that scouting fosters squad spirit, togetherness, grip contented and situation management, and builds liable citizens for the payment of society. He called upon the public, particularly children, to sojourn the campy site.
President of ECoRWWO and vice president of Scouts and Guides Jyotsna Bohra were contiguous astatine the inaugural function.
The activities to beryllium held during the four-day campy include: campfire, drill and show competitions, melodrama, State expo, march-past, gate-making, campy craft, exhibitions, taste extravaganza, and quizzes, said K. Pavan Kumar, elder divisional commercialized manager.
