A 38-year-old woman, S. Nesalakshmi of Karimedu, was assaulted by a pistillate and her lad for questioning them aft their favored canine spot her daughter.
Police said the Labrador canine owned by A. Sathiya of New Jail Road spot Sakthi, 12, connected Saturday erstwhile she was walking connected the street.
Sakthi’s mother, Ms. Nesalakshmi, went to Sathiya’s location and asked her wherefore they had not kept the canine connected a leash. Angered implicit this, Sathiya and her lad Vijay Sarathi, 22, held her by her hairsbreadth and abused her successful filthy language.
After pushing her down, Vijay Sarathi assaulted her with a woody log and threatened her with dire consequences.
Ms. Nesalakshmi was admitted to a backstage infirmary with injuries. She lodged a ailment with Karimedu police, pursuing which Sathiya and Vijay Sarathi were booked for utilizing abusive language, assault, transgression intimidation and nether the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.
