The DMK has urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to retreat the transportation of Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam and reinstate him arsenic the State’s Chief Secretary.

In a missive to the EC, DMK treasurer T.R. Baalu besides powerfully objected to the assignment of Sandeep Mittal arsenic Director General of Police (Armed Police and Vigilance and Anti-Corruption), alleging that Mr. Mittal was a protagonist of the BJP and the RSS.
