Citing a procedural flaw, the Kerala High Court connected Friday (November 21, 2025) quashed an bid by the Vigilance tribunal that sought an enquiry against Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) M.R. Ajith Kumar successful a disproportionate assets case.

The tribunal said the Kerala government’s authorisation is required to initiate proceedings against him successful the lawsuit that had been registered nether the Prevention of Corruption Act.
