Around 300 members of the Tamil Nadu Association for the Rights of All Types of Differently Abled and Caregivers (TARATDAC) staged a protestation successful beforehand of the Dindigul Collectorate connected Tuesday demanding amended monthly assistance for the otherwise abled persons successful Tamil Nadu.

They said that the Andhra Pradesh authorities was providing a monthly assistance of ₹6,000 to otherwise abled persons and ₹10,000 and ₹15,000 respectively to persons with superior disabilities based connected the quality of the disability.
Similarly, successful different States similar Telangana, Puducherry and Delhi, the respective governments were providing a monthly assistance to the otherwise abled which was higher erstwhile compared with the monthly assistance provided by the Tamil Nadu government, they said and demanded that the Tamil Nadu authorities summation the monthly assistance.
