The diamond jubilee of the priestly ordination of Fr Bernadene Maria Louis OCD was celebrated with a solemn Mass astatine St Joseph Provincial House astatine Kottiyam, Kollam the different day. The jubilee coincides with the solemnisation of the centenary of canonization and 150th commencement day of St Therese of Lisseux by the Carmelites of southbound Kerala province. Fr Bernadene, hailing from Adimalathura, Thiruvavanthapuram, belongs to the Carmelite Order. He is the laminitis of the Carmelites of Divine Mercy, a congregation of nuns, astatine Mukkola, Thiruvavanthapuram.
