A Hindu outfit has sought a judicial enquiry into alleged irregularities successful the medication of the Arulmigu Ratnagiri Kumarakadavul Temple astatine Saravanampatti successful Coimbatore and demanded enactment against officials of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department.

In a petition submitted to the State government, the Chandikeswara Nayanar Narpani Sangam alleged that important funds had been collected for renovation works and the consecration ceremonial held astatine the temple astir 15 months ago, but details of the income and expenditure had not been disclosed to devotees.

The petition besides alleged that temple clergyman D. Sreekanth, who had been staying connected the temple premises, was asked to vacate his country pursuing oral instructions from HR&CE authorities. Claiming that the clergyman had been subjected to hardship, the outfit sought the instrumentality of the metallic spear and requested the State authorities to bid an enquiry into the allegations relating to the temple’s medication and finances.
