With the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) coming into existence, the portfolios of Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar person been modified.
As per the notification issued by the Raj Bhavan, the modified portfolios of Mr. Shivakumar are: Major and Medium Irrigation, Bengaluru Urban Development (connected to Bengaluru Town Planning, GBA, and 5 metropolis corporations coming nether the GBA) and each the municipality section bodies coming nether Bengaluru Urban territory (except work matters), BDA, BWSSB, BMRDA and BMRCL. Mr. Shivakumar earlier did not person the complaint of municipality section bodies successful Bengaluru Urban District.
The Governor modified the portfolios and issued the notification pursuing the proposal of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
