Denial of bail to MP Rashid to meet ailing father ‘nothing short of inhuman’, says brother

Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) legislator Sheikh Khursheed, member of incarcerated Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid, connected Friday (April 24, 2026) said the Delhi court’s denial of bail to Rashid “was thing abbreviated of inhuman”.

“Denial of interim bail to Mr. Rashid, adjacent arsenic his begetter lies connected a deathbed waiting for the past glimpse of his incarcerated son, is thing abbreviated of inhuman. What we are witnessing is not justness but a strategy that appears selective and devoid of compassion,” said Mr. Khursheed, who is MLA from northbound Kashmir’s Langate.
