A transportation lad and his accomplice were arrested for allegedly stealing Apple smartwatches, AirPods and mobile chargers from a warehouse and replacing them with fake ones, a Delhi Police serviceman said connected Tuesday.
On November 15, Sunny Kushwah, a nonmigratory of Uttam Nagar, reported to the constabulary that a fewer products were stolen from the Flipkart warehouse astatine his residence. An FIR was registered nether Section 305 (theft) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the transportation boy, identified arsenic Umesh, 22, was nabbed adjacent his residence astatine Prem Nagar successful Nangloi connected November 17.
During the interrogation, Mr. Umesh revealed the individuality of his accomplice, Sunny, 23, who was arrested from Khirki Extension, Malviya Nagar. Three Apple smartwatches, 3 AirPods, and 3 chargers were recovered from their possession.
The serviceman said Mr. Umesh came successful interaction with Ankit and Sunny Kumar, some residents of Bihar, who lured him to bargain Apple products and regenerate them with fake ones.
