Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh connected Thursday (April 2, 2026) flagged disconnected a fleet of vehicles, including backhoe loaders, mechanical road sweepers and flood-control exigency units, procured by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to code waterlogging and fortify sanitation services.
Mr. Singh said residents would not witness the grade of waterlogging seen successful erstwhile years during the coming monsoon. “This is the 2nd signifier of induction of precocious machines into the MCD fleet,” helium said.
