The Delhi High Court connected Thursday rejected a petition by an Afghan nationalist seeking merchandise from the Lampur Detention Centre, observing that a exile certificate issued by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) does not confer immoderate enforceable ineligible close to reside successful India.

The Afghan nationalist had entered India without valid documentation and was convicted nether the Foreigners Act. Though his condemnation was constricted to the play already undergone, authorities subsequently initiated deportation proceedings.
