Culture lovers successful the metropolis person been enjoying a feast of classical music, dance, and spiritual sermon presentations astatine the seventh Margazhi Manghala Utsavam this week.

Spirituality tops Sunday’s docket with Thiruvasagam by Thiruvathavur Thiruvasaga Kuzhu (music composed by Latha Kirubakaran), philharmonic recital by S. Krishna Kumar, and the Harikatha .

On Saturday, a assortment of creation performances kept the assemblage enthralled done the day.

Bhaja Govindam, presented by danseuse Supriya Ravikumar and her students of the Sripriyalaya Academy, showcased the galore facets of devotion to the divine. This was followed by Mayakkum Madurai Maanagaram, a solo Bharathanatyam recital by exponent Kavya Kasinathan.

Disciples of Bharathanatyam dancer Shahin Bright and Nrithyashanthi Academy of Divine Fine Arts, presented Bhakti Margam, successful a masterful show of synchronised footwork and onstage coordination.

Kanthan Kaaviyam by the disciples of Revathi Muthuswamy, Nithyamrutham by students of Vrinda Ramanan, and Bala Kala Vidhanam led the evening performances connected Saturday.

The time concluded with Oru Theiveega Anubhavam, a Mohiniattam show by Rekha Raju.
