CPI slams Centre over delimitation, Women’s Bill linkage

The Communist Party of India (CPI) nationalist caput K. Ramakrishna has powerfully criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, alleging that their decisions are undermining antiauthoritarian principles and weakening the national operation of the country.

Addressing a property league present connected Sunday, Mr. Ramakrishna accused the Union authorities of utilizing the Women’s Reservation Bill for governmental summation by linking it with the projected delimitation exercise. He said the Opposition was not against the Bill itself, recalling that it had already been passed successful 2023 with wide support, but objected to its linkage with delimitation and census-related conditions.
