The CPI(M) has demanded a broad probe into the ‘controversial demolition of houses’ connected 42 plots successful JJ Nagar of Bhavanipuram of Vijayawada and compensation for the affected families.
A CPI(M) delegation, led by the party’s State caput Ch. Babu Rao, visited the tract connected Thursday, interacted with the victims and assessed the standard of the damage.
The houseowners alleged that they had purchased the plots 20 years agone and due registration was done. They obtained slope loans and constructed houses arsenic portion of the VMC plan.
They claimed that ‘fraudulent societies and manipulated tribunal litigations’ were utilized to drawback their land, and their houses were demolished to facilitate the onshore transportation of 2 acres and 17 cents belonging to 42 families.
Mr. Babu Rao condemned the demolitions. “It is unjustifiable and immoral to destruct houses built with loans, contempt a Supreme Court enactment bid valid until December 31,” helium said and accused the erstwhile YSRCP authorities of completing registration processes nether pressure, and the existent authorities of facilitating wide onshore scams with the enactment of elder officials.
Mr. Babu Rao demanded contiguous annulment of fraudulent nine registrations, capable compensation for the victims from those liable for the demolitions, and authorities enactment for rebuilding their houses.
CPI(M) West City Secretary B. Satyababu, territory committee subordinate E.V. Narayana, metropolis committee members K. Suribabu, G. Venkatravu, Md. Mastan, and Md. Rafi were among those visited the site.
