The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] has expelled T. Purushothaman, an AKG Bhavan subdivision member, for reportedly supporting rebel campaigner successful the Payyannur Assembly constituency V. Kunhikrishnan during the Assembly elections.
