The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has demanded contiguous scrapping of the strategy to instal astute meters for energy consumers successful Puducherry.
In a memorandum submitted to the Superintending Engineer cum Head of the Electricity Department, G. Kaniyamuthan, enactment caput S. Ramachandran said the determination to instal astute meters would beryllium detrimental to the interests of powerfulness consumers successful the Union Territory.
