The archetypal prize was awarded to S. Subash, a Class IX pupil from Chennai Higher Secondary School, T.H. Road, Old Washermenpet. The 2nd prize was secured by M. Sohail Ahamed, a pupil of Class IX from Chennai Urdu High School, Old Washermenpet. The 3rd prize was won by M. Sobitha, a pupil of Class VII from Jaigopal Garodia Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Choolaimedu.
Nearly 8,000 students took portion successful the preliminary rounds conducted crossed 40 authorities schools successful and astir North Chennai. A full of 120 students competed successful the finale connected Wednesday. The victor and runners-up received currency prizes of ₹10,000, ₹7,000 and ₹5,000.
