Couple killed in firecracker blast at Konaseema

A mates died connected the spot erstwhile the extortion of their location collapsed aft the firecrackers stored successful their location blasted. The incidental occurred astatine Vilasa village, Inavilli mandal successful Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema territory connected Wednesday.

In an authoritative release, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema District Superintendent of Police Rahul Meena said the deceased were identified arsenic Kancharla Srinivasa Rao (55) and his woman Kancharla Seetha (50).

The blast occurred erstwhile the mates who had a licence to merchantability firecrackers, were retrieving the stored firecrackers of past Diwali. The crackers fell connected the level and ignited causing the accident.

The constabulary recovered the bodies and sent them to the Kothapeta Government Hospital for postmortem. A lawsuit has been registered and probe is on.
