Minister for Municipal Administration K.N. Nehru connected Wednesday said that co-operative institutions were strengthened nether DMK rule.
Speaking astatine the Cooperative Week celebrations here, helium said the co-operative movement, which was started with the purpose of supporting farmers and improving the agrarian economy, was the backbone of agriculture. Though cooperative banks and superior cultivation cooperative recognition societies had been tasked with commercialized activities, the absorption was connected extending harvest loans to farmers.
