Conservationists urge government to halt development of eco-park at Ooty Race Course

Conservationists including the Confederation of Environment Associations of Nilgiris (CEAN) person written to the authorities calling for the Ooty Race Course to beryllium protected, and for immoderate planned constructions to beryllium stopped immediately.

In their petition to the government, Surjit K. Chaudhary, a retired IAS serviceman and Chairperson of CEAN, said that a forum of citizens who came unneurotic for the extortion of the wetland successful Udhagamandalam did a recce of the full wetland from Stone House to Kandhal.
