Congress MLC complaints to DGP against KTR, Harish Rao

Congress MLC Balmoor Venkat lodged a ailment with the Director General of Police (DGP) alleging that erstwhile ministers K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) and Harish Rao are attempting to intimidate officials investigating the telephone tapping case.

Speaking to reporters astatine the DGP office, Mr. Venkat alleged that the 2 leaders are threatening SIT officials and making statements aimed astatine instilling fearfulness among investigating officers, thereby attempting to power the people of the probe.

He said helium had submitted a ailment on with supporting grounds to the Additional DGP, seeking contiguous ineligible action. According to him, warnings were allegedly issued to officials that they would beryllium “dealt with” erstwhile the accused instrumentality to power.
