The Congress has lodged a ailment against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for allegedly violating predetermination rules by campaigning successful their ‘own newspapers’ successful the Jubilee Hills by-election. Chairman of TPCC Media and Communications, Sama Ram Mohan Reddy, has submitted a written ailment to District Election Officer R. V. Karnan. He said that BRS had been publishing ‘campaign quality items’ successful their affiliated media outlets, which is simply a breach of the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) rules. He besides alleged that these outlets are not publishing quality reports of the different parties.
