Collector K.J. Praveen Kumar presented ‘Community Conservation Leadership Award’ to 5 persons during the World Wildlife Day solemnisation present connected Tuesday.
The 5 selected candidates who person made notable contributions towards wildlife and situation conservation were awarded ₹25,000 currency prize during the event.
Five awardees - V. Karthi, P.R. Vishwanath, T. Badrinarayanan, N. Raveendran and S. Ramasamy - who were selected nether categories of biodiversity conservation, wildlife conservation and research, earthy conservation and consciousness - were recognised for their dedicated efforts successful promoting community-based conservation initiatives.
