In a large reshuffle of the IAS officers successful the State, District Collectors of Madurai, Theni, Kanniyakumari, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli and Ramanathapuram districts were transferred.
Madurai District Collector K.J. Praveen Kumar was transferred to Nagapattinam and Nagapattinam Collector P. Akash was replaced arsenic Madurai Collector.
In Theni district, Collector Ranjeet Singh was transferred to Tamil Nadu Urban Infrastructure Financial Services Limited arsenic its Managing Director.
R. Vaithinathan, formerly Director, Information and Public Relations/ex-officio Joint Secretary to Government, Tamil Development and Information Department; and Managing Director (FAC), Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation, is posted arsenic Theni District Collector.
R. Alagumeena, the District Collector of Kanniyakumari Collector is transferred and posted arsenic Deputy Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department. M. Prathap, District Collector, Tiruvallur district, is to beryllium posted arsenic Kanniyakumari District Collector.
Ramanathapuram Collector Simranjeet Singh Kahlon is transferred and posted arsenic Member-Secretary of Chennai Rivers Restoration Trust.
A.K. Kamal Kishore, District Collector, Tenkasi district, is transferred and posted arsenic Joint Secretary to Government, Finance Department.
Anand Mohan, Joint Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, volition beryllium replacing Tirunelveli Collector R. Sukumar.
