Collector urges farmers to embrace modern methods at Tirupati Kisan Mela

Amid a looming nationalist workplace labour shortage, the ‘Kisan Mela’ organised successful Tirupati highlighted the urgent request for mechanisation.

The lawsuit was conducted by the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS) for the payment of farmers from Tirupati, Chittoor, Nellore, Kadapa, and Annamayya districts.

Apart from encouraging mechanisation, the Kisan Mela besides focussed connected earthy farming, harvest diversification, worth summation to the extremity merchandise and post-harvest absorption techniques to marque farming remunerative.

Tirupati District Collector S. Venkateswar, who formally inaugurated the event, advised the farmers to deliberation beyond the regular cultivation practices and follow modern methods.
