The Fire and Rescue Services personnel, connected Sunday, retrieved the assemblage of a 33-year-old antheral who drowned successful Lower Bhavani Project (LBP) canal connected Saturday, September 20.
The deceased was identified arsenic Rajkumar, an IT worker from Vilankurichi successful Coimbatore district. He was travelling with 3 friends from Coimbatore towards Sathyamangalam. According to the police, the incidental occurred erstwhile the radical stopped adjacent the canal astatine Thoppampalayam to bathe earlier continuing their journey.
While bathing, Rajkumar moved into a deeper conception of the canal and was swept distant by the beardown current, the constabulary said.
Fire and Rescue unit were alerted immediately, and the hunt cognition continued until his assemblage was recovered connected Sunday.
The assemblage has been sent to Sathyamangalam Government Hospital for post-mortem. Sathyamangalam constabulary person registered a case.
