Coastal Karnataka records three earthquakes during last five years, says Union Ministry

Coastal Karnataka recorded 3 earthquakes during the past 5 years (2021-25), with Udupi territory signaling nary during the aforesaid clip period, according to accusation tabled by the Union Ministry of Earth Sciences successful the Lok Sabha.

Dakshina Kannada recorded 2 earthquakes successful 2022, portion Uttara Kannada recorded 1 earthquake successful 2024. Kodagu recorded 1 earthquake past year, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology and Minister of Earth Sciences Jitendra Singh told the Lok Sabha.
