Coal India to set up 8 new coking coal washeries spending ₹3,300 crore

Seeking to amended the prime of their coking coal, state-owned miner Coal India informed it would beryllium mounting up 8 caller coking ember washeries, with a combined washing capableness of 21.5 cardinal tonnes a year, astatine an estimated superior outlay of ₹3,300 crores.

Of the 8 washeries, 5 would beryllium acceptable up by the Jharkhand-headquartered Central Coalfields Ltd. They would person a cumulative capableness of 14.5 cardinal tonnes a year. The remainder would beryllium with Bharat Coking Coal Ltd. They would relationship for a cumulative capableness of 7 cardinal tonnes a year.
