Chief Minister Siddaramaiah connected Thursday inspected the ongoing underground cabling works being carried retired by Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) successful Mysuru to regenerate existing 11 kV overhead energy lines with underground cables.
The Chief Minister reviewed the advancement of the works astatine Srirampura and collected accusation from the CESC officials connected the implementation of the project.
During the inspection, Mysuru Circle Superintending Engineer Sunil Kumar briefed the Chief Minister connected the presumption of the underground cabling task being executed wrong the Ring Road limits of Mysuru city.
The officials informed that the task is being implemented astatine a outgo of ₹588.24 crore and covers conversion of 871.09 km of 11 kV overhead powerfulness lines into underground cables. So far, underground cabling works covering 227.12 km person been completed and 160 RMUs installed, achieving 26.07% progress.
