CM inaugurates completed projects worth ₹7.32 crore in Salem

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, done videoconferencing, inaugurated completed task works worthy ₹7.32 crore and laid the instauration for caller improvement works worthy ₹5.51 crore successful Salem territory connected Monday.

Tourism Minister R. Rajendran presided implicit the relation held astatine the Government Women’s Arts College astatine Gorimedu. After the Chief Minister inaugurated the completed projects, the Minister inspected the recently constructed laboratory gathering astatine ₹1.52 crore astatine the assemblage and interacted with the students.

Minister Rajendran told reporters that the gathering has each facilities, including a laboratory, borewell, toilets, and other infrastructure. 

The projects inaugurated by the Chief Minister included an bureau gathering for the Agriculture Marketing and Agri Business Department, a godown with a capableness of 1,000 metric tonnes and an auction store with a capableness of 500 metric tonnes, each astatine a full outgo of ₹7.32 crore. Additionally, Vizhuthugal-one halt centre astatine Salem, Sankari, and Mettur gross divisions and 16 taluk-level sub centres, and the Kondalampatti silk yarn clump astatine Neikarapatti were inaugurated.

Works for which the instauration was laid see a three-story schoolroom gathering (12,879 sq. ft.) valued astatine ₹ 4.41 crore astatine Government Arts College successful Kumarasamipatti and a controller of examinations bureau gathering (3,620 sq. ft.) valued astatine ₹1 crore at Government Engineering College.

District Collector R. Brindha Devi, Mayor A. Ramachandran, District Revenue Officer R. Ravikumar, Deputy Mayor M. Saradha Devi, and officials from acrophobic departments participated.
