The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) has called for a State-wide protestation connected 12 May, demanding the withdrawal of the Labour Codes notified by the Central authorities successful November 2025.
“In accordance with the telephone fixed by the CITU All India Committee, the CITU Karnataka State Committee has called for a protestation connected May 12 crossed each territory centres and workplaces successful the State, by collectively burning copies of the rules framed by the Central authorities nether the 4 Labour Codes,” noted a connection issued by the union.
Noting that the codes are a determination to destruct the cardinal rights of the workers including the close to protest, the national besides urged the Karnataka authorities to not instrumentality the codes successful the State.
