Chinese firm bags contract to print Nepal's Rs 1,000 bank notes

A Chinese institution has bagged a declaration to plan and people 430 cardinal pieces of Nepal's ₹1,000 denomination banknotes, officials said connected Saturday (November 8, 2025).

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) issued a missive of intent to the China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation connected Friday (November 7, 2025) for the design, printing, proviso and transportation of the notes, the slope officials said.
