A squad of 4 Chhattisgarh Police personnel, including an inspector, was detained by Guwahati Police for allegedly demanding and accepting bribes from 3 cybercrime accused arrested from Assam, officials said connected Wednesday (April 29, 2026).

A lawsuit was registered against the 4 unit of Raipur Police astatine Dispur constabulary station, and they were picked up for questioning connected Tuesday nighttime (April 28, 2026), a elder authoritative told PTI.
