The District Crime Branch Police person registered lawsuit against a woman, who allegedly cheated different pistillate of 10 sovereigns of golden aft introducing herself arsenic a Sub-Collector and the victim’s distant relative.
Police said 1 Sathya Devi introduced herself to Mahizh Vadhana, 27, of Kariyakulam adjacent Radhapuram arsenic her distant comparative and a Sub-Collector. She said that she was successful request of mortgaging 10 sovereigns of golden for getting ₹1 crore indebtedness released from a fiscal institution.
Believing her, Ms. Vadhana gave 80 grams of her golden ornaments.
When Sathya Devi failed to instrumentality the golden ornaments arsenic promised, Ms. Vadhana filed a ailment with the Radhapuram constabulary and past District Crime Branch. Appearing for the inquiry, Sathya Devi, who initially agreed to instrumentality the ornaments, refused to springiness the valuables back.
