Centre’s approach on delimitation, women’s quota Bills wrong: Farooq Abdullah

National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah said connected Friday (April 17, 2026) that the Centre’s determination to present Bills connected delimitation and women preservation has “people worried” and the approach adopted was “wrong”.

Mr. Abdullah, whose enactment was a subordinate of the J&K Delimitation Commission successful 2021, said, “You saw however delimitation was carried retired present (in J&K). It was done truthful wrongly.”
