Centre approves construction of 5,000 houses for displaced people in Manipur

Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has approved the operation of 5,000 houses for rehabilitation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) successful Manipur, officials said.

Chouhan cleared the operation of the houses nether the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) for the IDPs affected by the taste unit successful the northeastern State, aft gathering Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh connected Monday (February 23, 2026) evening successful New Delhi, they said.
