The Crime Branch–Criminal Investigation Department (CB-CID), successful collaboration with Self Made Ninja Academy and Saveetha Engineering College, organised a national-level cyber hackathon titled “Yukthi 2.0”, aimed astatine processing solutions to 80 analyzable occupation statements.
As galore arsenic 2,400 participants from crossed the state registered and competed successful the preliminary rounds held connected December 13 and 14. Following this, 178 cyber experts from the apical 50 teams qualified for the finals, conducted connected December 19 and 20 astatine Saveetha Engineering College. Based connected emerging cybercrime trends, 35 occupation statements were shortlisted for the last round.
The apical 3 teams, which addressed the maximum fig of challenges, received currency prizes of ₹75,000, ₹50,000 and ₹25,000 respectively. The CB CID Chief and Inspector General of Police T.S.Anbu distributed prizes.
Mr. Anbu said the solutions and outcomes of Yukthi 2.0 are expected to importantly fortify the Tamil Nadu Police’s capableness to tackle analyzable and evolving cybercrime cases.
