Case booked against folk singer Mangli, others over alleged ₹10 crore fraud

The Punjagutta constabulary person registered a lawsuit against vocalist Mangli, besides known arsenic Satyavathi, her member and others pursuing allegations of cheating, fiscal fraud and transgression intimidation linked to a microfinance scheme.

According to the complaint, astir 100 persons were allegedly induced to put wealth with promises of precocious returns done movie financing and related concern activities. The investors claimed that neither the promised returns nor their archetypal investments were repaid.
