Case against labourer for giving ₹20 to court clerk dismissed

A labourer who gave ₹20 to a tribunal clerk for getting a papers related to his lawsuit has been acquitted from the ‘bribery case’ aft waging ineligible conflict for 13 years.

When a labourer from a colony adjacent Kalakkad, who had filed a lawsuit successful Nanguneri sub-court, had to get a papers relating to his case, helium approached tribunal clerk Mariappan successful June 2012. Since Mariappan allegedly demanded ₹20, the labourer gave the wealth to the clerk.

As the Magistrate saw the labourer giving wealth to the clerk, the judicial officer, treating it arsenic a lawsuit of bribery, ordered registration of lawsuit against some Mariappan and the plaintiff.
