Car driver dies in head-on collision with another vehicle near Parthibanur

A car operator was killed and six others were injured erstwhile 2 cars collided head-on adjacent Keelaperungarai bus halt adjacent Parthibanur connected Tuesday evening.

Police said two cars — 1 proceeding from Tiruppur to Rameswaram and the other going from Paramakudi to Manamadurai — collided head-on near Parthibanur.

In the accident, Srinivasan, 60, of Manamadurai, the operator of 1 of the cars, on with 5 passengers, suffered serious injuries.

They were immediately admitted to Paramakudi Government Hospital for treatment.

Srinivasan was referred to Government Rajaji Hospital successful Madurai for further treatment, but helium died connected the mode to hospital.
