Calicut varsity Senate chooses A. Sabu as nominee for V-C search panel

The Senate of the University of Calicut (CU) has selected A. Sabu, subordinate secretary, Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment, arsenic its nominee for the search-cum-selection sheet to take a caller Vice-Chancellor (V-C) for the institution.

Those aligned with the BJP projected the sanction of K. Muraleedharan, Principal Scientist, Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Plantation Crops Research Institute. After voting, Mr. Sabu got 38 votes, Mr. Nair 20 votes, and Mr. Muraleedharan got 3 votes.

Earlier, the Senate had chosen Dharmaraj Adat, erstwhile V-C, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, arsenic its nominee connected August 23.
