Calicut varsity reschedules PG exams

The University of Calicut has rescheduled the archetypal semester exams for first-year postgraduate (PG) students successful affiliated colleges from November 12 to November 26.

This follows request from a conception of students and academics who sought the postponement of the exams, saying the admissions for PG courses had been completed lone connected September 12. Arun Karippal, Assistant Professor, Sree Keralavarma College, Thrissur, is among those who had sent a memorandum to Vice-Chancellor P. Raveendran.

In his memorandum, Prof. Karippal had said that since the holidays for Mahanavami and Vijaya Dashami and the students’ national predetermination successful colleges followed the admissions, classes were disrupted. Also, determination were 18 play holidays during the period. Because of each these, the mandatory 90 instructional days could not beryllium completed successful the archetypal semester.
