Burglars decamped with 25 sovereigns of golden jewellery from a location astatine Peruvangur adjacent Kallakurichi connected Tuesday night.
Police said G. Sujatha was surviving with her household successful Peruvangur for the past fewer years. She, on with her 2 children, had gone to Salem a fewer days ago. After returning location connected Tuesday, Sujatha noticed that the beforehand doorway fastener was damaged. On checking, she recovered the valuables missing.
On being informed, the Kallakurichi constabulary rushed to the location with forensic experts. A lawsuit has been registered and further investigations are on.
