The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Avadi Police Commissionerate connected Wednesday arrested 2 brothers connected charges of cheating respective persons.
According to the police, the accused, Manikandan and Velmurugan of Ayyappakkam, had borrowed ₹20 lakh successful instalments from complainant Gopi’s father, Arunchalam of Ayapakkam. Of this, they repaid lone ₹5 lakh, and did not instrumentality the remaining ₹15 lakh, contempt repeated promises.
The brothers had besides allegedly borrowed wealth arsenic loans from respective others.
₹53 lakh collected
They collected ₹53 lakh from these individuals and failed to instrumentality the money, thereby cheating them. Complaints were filed seeking due ineligible enactment against the 2 accused.
