People's Conference president Sajad Gani Lone connected Wednesday (April 29, 2026) accused the BJP, National Conference and the Peoples Democratic Party of colluding to "fix the match" during elections to the 4 Rajya Sabha seats successful Jammu and Kashmir past year.

While the ruling National Conference had won 3 seats, the BJP managed to unafraid 1 spot contempt not having the required numbers. At slightest 4 non-BJP MLAs had voted for BJP campaigner Sat Sharma, who got 32 votes against the enactment spot of 28 MLAs.
