BJP in-charge for the Union Territory Nirmal Kumar Surana called connected Chief Minister and AINRC laminitis N. Rangasamy astatine his residence.
BJP sources said Mr. Surana held talks with the Chief Minister connected organisation of portfolios among Ministers. Mr. Surana was accompanied by BJP president V. P. Ramalingam. The leaders besides discussed the predetermination to the posts of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, the root said.
In the National Democratic Alliance authorities headed by Mr. Rangasamy, the AINRC has 3 Ministers and BJP two. During the erstwhile tenure of the NDA, the 2 BJP Ministers held cardinal portfolios of Home, Electricity, Education, Industries and Civil Supplies. While the Speaker station successful the erstwhile authorities was held by the BJP, the Deputy Speaker station was with the AINRC.
