The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress traded jibes successful Madhya Pradesh connected Monday (April 20, 2026) implicit the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill that was defeated successful the Parliament past week.

While the ruling enactment held a march — Jan Akrosh Mahila Padyatra — successful Bhopal and accused the Congress of being “anti-women” and “stripping distant the rights of women”, the Congress alleged that the BJP was making a “nefarious” effort to misuse enforcement powers by linking delimitation and women’s reservation.
