The BJP, Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) connected Monday (May 4, 2026) retained their 7 sitting seats successful 5 States wherever Assembly bypolls were held connected April 9 and 23.

While the BJP won 4 seats successful Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tripura and Nagaland, the Congress won 2 successful Karnataka and the NCP emerged victorious successful Maharashtra.

Voting took spot for the byelections successful Nagaland, Karnataka and Tripura connected April 9 and successful Gujarat and Maharashtra connected April 23.
